He can probably do that but isn't technically a member of the team now that he gave up his eligibility. Maybe someone can clarify this

I'll make it easy on you. I was just trying to get people to think about it. LSU can absolutely give him a ticket and sideline pass. There is no doubt about that. With that in mind, is it still a big deal that he signed with an agent if he wasn't going to play anyway? If it is still a big deal in that case, why?

Now, I would be disappointed if he doesn't go at all. I'm having a hard time seeing a good reason why not to go.

You're missing the point though. It has nothing to do with him going or not, it has a lot to do with him being a part of the TEAM to finish his career with his TEAMMATES. If he didn't sign this agent and just said o well I don't want to travel so I can rest, meh I would be okay with that and understandably so. The point is he put his personal interests ahead of his teams interest which is completely out of character for a guy like Leonard who has been such a team player since his recruitment. Finish the season as a team with your team and then sign your agent. It just shows a lack of interest on his part, like it or not.

ETA: I'm not here to crucify him, call him bad names, etc. He's arguably my all time favorite tiger for the way he has been on and off the field and I'm a little disappointed in him that's all. Best of luck to him in a hopefully prosperous career in the big leagues.

Where's my humble LF7? Where's the guy who sold his helmet for SC?

That's the problem. He's not yours. Leonard is his own man and people around here are pissed off that he is doing things the way he wants and not how you want hom to do it.

That man loves LSU, his team, and coaches. All of the highlights he gave us will never be forgotten by me and I still appreciate the fact that he stayed home and repped the home team unlike some other players. Some of y'all still want to shite on him even though he chose to stay home. I don't get it.

Not a surprise.

Fournette's been a prima donna for at least a year now. Hopefully for his sake he can regain his competitive edge in the pros.

Oh and I'm sure he cares about this team, but he also cares about himself more at the moment. That's fine but I just respectfully disagree with the timing of it

I don't think you can say "it's fine" while also saying it's "bullshite" and "chicken shite"

It's ridiculous

People have been wanting to say he quit since after the Auburn game, and now, after months of being wrong, they finally feel somewhat justified and now running with this primma donna narrative
