Nussmeier has been working with the team's first team offense this week.

Being fit and protected by a professional o-line goes a long long way obviously.
If he doesn’t Uncle Rico away a bunch of picks or fold like a tent when they inevitably bust his arse he’ll have a career methinks.

They're probably trying to get his trade stock up. Obviously this is Mahomes team but if it looks like you have a weapon back there, somebody will pay good money. A player like Nuss, as good as he's playing, is a sound insurance policy behind an injured PM. But he's also like the Pats building up Garoppolo, Brissett, and Cassel. Future trade asset.
