Does anyone know policy on minicamp participants? Don’t think he was ever on a NFL roster and therefore would be eligible.

Asking mods to move this to recruiting board since it’s more related to that.

We don’t have to make a separate post for every TRO that gets granted

Good, I want them all eligible. Many of these marginal players likely would’ve stayed when their draft grade was late or UDFA.

If you received a rookie minicamp invitation but did not secure and sign a contract, then you are eligible under the SEC rule. This applies to Dunnam; he can transfer anywhere he wishes, including the SEC, while he is temporarily eligible.

At this point, nobody knows the policies on anything.

Not sure why this isn’t clear to everyone. DW situation is entirely different

So if you attend the main camp you are ineligible, but if you attended a mini camp you can play because of a rule implemented this week after decisions had been made by pkayers.

How dumb does this sound? Guys can go to one camp and it’s ok, guys can go to another camp and he’s burned all because he thought his college eligibility had been used up.

The catch is if he entered the draft and did not withdraw (regardless of whether he thought he might have a year of eligibility left) that's the catch that a lot of people are missing...whether you did mini camp shouldn't matter.

If someone didn't put their name in the draft but then went to mini camp somehow, and then didn't make the preasason roster/sign a deal, I don't think the SEC has a problem with that. (Note that situation probably applies to literally 0.5% of people, I know it's far fetched)

Who knows at this point... I'm exhausted from it. I just wish the season would start tomorrow.

FWIW, our safety room is stacked so we wouldn't need him anyway.
