Learn how to kick extra point and punt football on 4th down…

I guarantee you that burrow would of scored 40 points or more with the same exact plays.
2018 tells a different story. We struggled in most games against SEC competition to score 30, hell even 20 was tough for some games. Tell me, are our offensive plays in 2022 more similar to 2018 or 2019?

You often see other teams throw bubble screens, do little shuttle passes, and generally just very quick hitting stuff. Do not see it often enough from LSU

No, they are not fine for our personnel because we don't have Burrow and we need more creativity. And in the 2019 offense, we barely ever subbed guys and that made it hard for defenses because they couldn't sub anyone in when we had matchups we were exploiting.

Im not sure ive seen Daniels throw a perfect pass that hits the WR/RB/TE in stride. Its ALWAYS high, low, behind, in front or over their GD heads!!!

Tenn CBs were playing like 5-8yrds off. We never attempted a simple screen/pitch and catch to get the ball to our athletes in space.
We have Zero creativity in the run game--basic read options or Off-tackle with no lead blocker.
One of the more dumb things to ever happen to college football was doing everything from shotgun---as great as 2019 was, we even saw that year we ran into issues in the run game sometimes because it was all shotgun.

I agree with pretty much all of that, the problem becomes , you can not go to the well all the time on all those 5-10-15 yard routes. Just today a Tennessee db undercut an out route but missed picking it off. That’s the big problem with simplifying the offense, you limit what you do tremendously and make yourself very predictable.

I can think of 3 he threw today. One for a first down backed up in the south endzone, one dropped at the end of the half, and another dropped driving to the south endzone.

Daniels is playing over Nuss because of his dynamic scrambling ability, yet the coaches call a game that doesn’t take advantage of his skill set.
We’re six games in. Daniels has proven he can’t read a defense and refuses to take advantage of open receivers or one on one match ups.
Either change QBs or start calling plays that highlight the Only skill set Daniels has.

Everyone needs to get it through their thick heads that there isn’t another Burrow. Have realistic expectations. A good OC would scheme around the players we have, not the players we had 3 years ago.

This isn't always true, especially if you are creative.
Mike Leach changed football by running a simple offense with a limited number of plays from different formations

Look at that play sheet

If you have a very above average QB, then I may agree with you.

The play calling is very unimaginative. And Daniel’s can’t execute the plays being called. The line is suffering from injuries and the receivers seem to be checked out most of the time. Esp Boutte. And is the TE the only receiver Daniel’s targets?

Need to go 4 to 5 wide nearly every play. Ball should be out by 2seconds. Throw away long developing plays playbook. Throw slants and more slants. Throw medium throws over the middle over and over and over. Basically use Tennessee's playbook lol with tempo. You'll never get that with dinosaur denbrock though

Where do we begin with this offense? The problems range from poor game plan seen in the play calling, execution, a QB that doesn’t make pre-snap and post-snap reads, poor throws, offensive line leaks, receivers dropping balls, speed and tempo are all a problem.

Then the plays are not fine. How many years did everyone crucify Les for trying to fit a square peg in a round hole?

That was a near last passing defense in all of CFB. Start your investigation there.

It’s a very simple three word answer, Kelly and Denbrock.

Zero tempo.
Zero creativity and misdirection in the run game.
It's extremely vanilla. Help your qb, who likes to run by rolling him out.
Did you see the shovel pass that heupel ran?
End around to receiver. It's not just the plays you call but when you call them too.
Denbrock sets nothing up.
