For the people who think orgeron is a savior. Why?

Why do people on here that love orgeron think he can bring LSU to competing for championships again? I mean looking at his resume nothing points to that. Looking at the circus that has gone on since he got here doesn’t point to that either. I’m just curious what is it that makes O supporters think he can make LSU take the next step. I’m rooting for LSU regardless of who the coach is. But anybody that is unbiased outside of our fan base is so happy we have orgeron.

Those who are calling him the saviour are employed by the Athletic deapartment to post on LSU message boards to try and calm some of the negativity and build confidence in the fan base. There are 5 student workers alone on here, plus more.

They are only doing their job. I'm not entirely sure they believe the rhetoric they post about and compare O to Saban.

Clearly a lot of people think orgeron can bring LSU to a championship but Nobody can give a legit reason. For the people who downvote why not give a reason why he’s a great coach?

Honestly a lot of guys are just so repulsed by the people (like me) that have taken a strong stance against Orgeron that they reflexively take the opposite position.

Absent of people like me, I think most (probably about 80%) do not believe Orgeron should have the job he does.

That’s fair. I just see a lot of people posting in his favor. I hope the guy comes out and LSU crushes everybody. I would love to be able to say I was completely wrong and this guy can coach. But the chances of that happening are very very low.

What in your mind is a worthy thread? Aren't basically all of these threads useless?

Someone is grossly overestimating their impact, importance, and overall self-worth.

Even optimistic LSU fans know he isn’t a savior.

I don’t think anyone can say they honesty believe is the answer. It’s just fans that are so biased and think automatically regardless of the coach, the team will win championships every year. (Until November, then those posted disappear until February)

People just disagree with what a "legit reason" is.

In 2017, Ed Orgeron's first full season as head coach, LSU complied a record of 9-4 overall and 6-2 in the SEC.

I think that is a legit reason to believe in him.

Because it's more fun to be positive than to act like some whiny-arse negative Nancy.

O has proven what he is. I'm not sure why anyone thinks he will change.
