It does considering the state of our program is piss poor. Coaches get compared to prior coaches all the time.

I consider that fact that the second largest revenue generating sport on campus has been run into the ground to be an LSU issue. So talking about why it happened, how it happened, and who is to blame is all related to LSU.

We have 3 programs that matter. Football basketball and baseball.
Look it’s great that we have sports that are good but 1 is sitting average 1 is a basement dwelling failure 1 is championship level.

You couldn’t have picked a worse fan base to say that nobody cares about baseball. Do you even know anything about LSU fans? Or SEC in general when it comes to baseball?

Look I get it - the national media was relentless and was not going to quit - they were not putting the same sort of relentless pressure on other coaches or programs who had done as bad or even worse stuff. Hell I'm still amazed the Florida coach has largely been ignored - if only half the stuff I've heard of him is true that's much worse than anything WW ever was accused of.
Having said that I'm still good with our administration being embarrassed over this as you say - in the end it's an LSU issue - to say it could not have been handled differently is very debatable....it would not have been as easy as with other places because there was a double standard in how the media handled it....but there were still other ways that could have been considered.

I agree 100%. Few people give a crap about basketball compared to BB and FB, and even fewer people give a crap about an ex coach most couldn't pick out of a line-up. And fewer people care about whoever the crap Woodward is and even fewer would even recognize.
