3 11AM kick times and only 2 night games that week. Seems weird

shite like this is what Woodward has to rectify as our AD.

Some of you have a very loose grasp, at best, of what an AD can and cannot do.

This has to be the earliest time of day this century that we've played Florida right?

I wonder how many empty seats there will be

WTF. We never had 11am kicks even at the worst parts of the Miles era. I thought it was understood we got night games unless we got tapped for CBS.

I think the 2016 game was at 11 or 12

The atmosphere was fricking abysmal for that game

We played them early in 2016 when we had the hurricane game fiasco and they had to come to BR. They basically demanded it couldn't' be a night game.

Utah State was at 11 a few years ago

In terms of conference opponent, Moo State 2004?

That’s a special circumstance, not sure if I’d count that.

Same for USCe in 2015 and App State in 2008

No AD swings a big enough stick to demand to ESPN and the SEC when their team will play. To think otherwise is just stupid.

My father was an AD for 35 years at 3 different D1s.

The AD 100% has ability & authority on when to schedule games because they have to co-exist withw university/campus on the whole. The majority buckle to the contracted parameters because they're spineless. Those parameters aren't enforceable by any network beyond anything other than the "risk" of being on a different/lesser channel. That's it.

Arkansas was an 11 am home game in 2017. Before that the most recent early home game was in 2011.

The league has 3 11am games next week. There have been a few weeks with 3 of these. There never used to be more than the dreaded 1 per week.

I get that TV and its money rule the world, but the SEC continues to stick the knife into its fanbases a little deeper. Nobody in this league likes 11am starts. THIS ISN'T THE frickING BIG-10.

This is a reason why in-stadium attendance is down all around the league. Awful game times are driving people away, and a lot of them aren't coming back.
