LSU vs Florida was a homecoming tradition at one point. I'm not quite sure how long ago...maybe the 70's? Ive seen homecoming posters.

They screwed us out of the Sugar bowl with an inferior and injured team. Still cant believe the new coach didnt get muredered by fans for that performance.They just beat us 4/5 in baseball including the big one and blew us out by 30+ the last time we played them in BBAll. Have to admit that this is a pretty good troll by Florida considering that the game was originally supposed to be in Baton Rouge this year before the whole cancel/reschedule debacle last year.

I heard they were giving the baseball team their rings at halftime too. Is this actually true? and am I the only one who thinks that it's in poor taste for them to do so? Is this a common thing for schools to do?

I believe LSU has been FU's homecoming opponent quite a few times in the past due to LSU's place on their schedule. Regardless, frick Florida.
And - homecoming at FU is a huge deal. It's a big production.
