We're in a new era in so many ways, many of which I don't like.

A college football playoff won't diminish the bowls.

Name me a Heisman winner in recent memory that wasn’t in the CFP or didn’t have another year of eligibility like Caleb Williams last year and Lamar Jackson in 2016.

Only fitting, LSU practically started the trend of sitting out bowl games

I know for a fact you understand Daniels' circumstances are different than most Heisman winners.

Therefore my question is just how badly do you need attention?

Give me one good reason why Daniels needs to play?

I'll tell why he isn't.
1. Doesn't want to risk injury before draft.
2. Knows he's done almost everything he could for LSU and the very last thing he can do is to let Nuss be the starter to start getting significant reps with the team.

What does that mean? That he doesn't care about LSU? He could've left after last year but came back to improve his stock at lead us to a championship. Had an opportunity to do it too if the defense wasn't shite. What more can he do now? If the coaches and players understand what doesn't it matter what we think about it? They understand and respect his decision. It's always the fricking "fans" on here that have problems. And I get it, some of you never liked or wanted him as QB but many of us know why. It's whatever. I wish Jayden well in the next stage of his life and I wish Nuss the best as well. It's kinda good this way so we can at least see what he looks like with a full start under his belt in a bowl game.

Different situation and as much as I don't like it I've accepted it. He won't be the last. I'd actually rather Nuss get the reps and get ready to compete for next year than watch JD destroy what's left of Wisconsin's terrible defense.

I'd rather our future QB get meaningful snaps in preparation for next season.

Daniels has represented himself like a champ for LSU and his decision doesn't diminish that one bit.

Not very often you get a Heisman senior who isn’t in playoffs but Matt House hates LSU.
