I'm saying it was smart to line up like they were going for 2 before the 2 penalties just to try and get us to burn our last timeout or to get us to jump. It worked twice and they were so close after 2 penalties that they took a calculated risk. Whether that was smart or dumb is definitely debatable, but it's very hard for a tired D to stop someone from getting half a yard or whatever.

But there was also had over six minutes left in the game at that point with a QB who torched us a lot in the game with a FG who can hit from 60+ (though he missed a rare one against us).

If there were 1000 tds in football this year, scored by the home team, to go up 7, or go for 2 with under 5 to play.....

999.5 of the time they would all kick the xtra pt......considering kicker was healthy, of course.
Theres a reason for that, because its a bad idea not to kick. You really want to be in a situation where opponent scores and wins with a PAT? No!

it worked but imagine if you don't get it and LSU wins with a TD and extra point when you most likely would have had an overtime game at home
