You can’t tell me Denbrock isn’t a good recruiter. Watching this, and that other video of him I would want to be coached by him immediately.

Definitely seems to legitimately care for the players.

It’s nice to have someone with a massive amount of experience. And recent success.

it feels weird having football coaches with a track record of sustained success

You don’t prefer the coaches that have never run an offense or defense? Haha

And sometimes that mistake is grammatical.

For people saying these Northern coaches wouldn’t be able to connect to southern players…

These guys will crush it here

I bet the HC even interviewed this rather important hire along the way.

Shameful that this is now noteworthy…oh how low did O go!

That is way overstated on here and definitely overrated especially in recruiting.

This is great. My kid is 9 and playing baseball and he’s so ridiculously hard on himself when he makes mistakes.

Bookmarked.

I completely agree with that! One thing we southerners value is respect amongst one another.

People kept saying these guys were “hard asses” and wouldn’t be able to connect with our people down here. That has proven to be so far from the truth!

He really needs to get his fumbling under control. I expect him to and I do expect him to have a good season.

good lord, Nick Saban is from West Virginia and went to college in Ohio. Then coached for 27 years up north and in the midwest, except for a 2-year stint with the Houston Oilers.

His first job in the South was at LSU. He did ok here, didn't he.

Damn it I’m gonna miss the old staff so much. I only wish we got to have Peetz and Pelini at the same time!
