Tulane is in just about every one, Mississippi is in every one and of course UGA, Gump, Tejas are in.
If LSU can't finish high enough to make a 12 team playoff, I'd be shocked. I love being under the radar.

Links to anything you are referring to. Also if Tulane is in any they are terrible and should be disregarded Tulane lost their HC and QB they will have an 9 win season max.

If we can make it through the gauntlet that is our 2024 schedule with 1 or 2 losses, I like our chances. Maybe we get in with 3 losses, but that would probably require a few other things to fall into place first.

Just win baby.

That’s just predicting the 5th highest ranked conference champion…. Nobody think they are the 12th best team

We lost a heisman qb and our 2 top receivers and our defense was arse

I'm not upset or surprised by this

Sounds like the guys that say we are currently favored in all of our games 6 months before the season as if it means anything

Better to be unpredictable then predictable in this case.

I mean, if we didn't have Daniels at QB last year we may have lost 7 games total (FSU, OM, Ala, Ark, Fla, TAMU, and Missouri).

The defense needs to prove to a lot of people that they can play better because that defense is what cost us a natty. OM and Bama were winnable. I think FSU just surpised a lot of people how good they really are.

LSU will finish 10-2. Four games decide our season.

Two of the four are at home after a bye (Bama, Ole Miss)

One is at the end of the season, at home after that team plays a gauntlet of a schedule (Oklahoma)

The last is on the road vs a SEC rival right after going on the road vs a rival. Both games have given us fits recently (TAMU after playing Arkansas).

People aren't going to like it, but I'm calling the TAMU game a loss. I find it extremely hard to pick the 2nd loss. I would say Bama or Oklahoma at the end of the season. I can't see us losing to Ole Miss. Despite their team, we have too much going into our favor for that game. Revenge, 2nd SEC road game in a row for them, LSU coming off a bye week. This is going to be Nuss's first big time win.

I really and truly could see us finish 11-1, but I have to give some leeway. Going 9-3 is the absolute floor.

Do you mean Ole Miss?

I think 10-2 gets us the 11 or 12 seed this year. Sneak in and win the first round and from there who knows?

I am. Seems like a lot of these people half arse their homework.

Bama with an entire new staff and one the worst returning production in the freaking country, with no experienced depth and 1 returning star player is somehow in the top 12, but LSU with a loaded offensive line, TE, WR, heavy talent at RB, and a QB going into his fourth year that has thrown 220 passes in 3 years prior, isn't in the top 12? Albeit on different teams, these are the stats, from the past season, for what I believe will be the top 4 WRs at LSU next year (the 5th will be Shelton Sampson)

Daniels 55 rec 1067 yards 19.4 ypr 10 TD
Lacy 30 rec 558 yards 18.6 ypr 7 TD
Thomas 40 rec 503 yards 12.8 ypr 1 TD
Hilton 13 rec 225 yards 17.3 ypr 2 TD

Aaron Anderson can be unlocked in the slot, and TE Taylor will likely break LSU single season records for a TE.

I can understand downing us because of the defense, but did we just pick up scrub coaches? The LB position and the edge play should be amazing next year. I believe we'll find 6-7 guys out of the 20 DBs we have, to keep us at least not a frantic mess in the secondary. DT is a work in progress, but if anybody can turn that around, Bo Davis can.

I think what he’s saying is “journalists” can get risky with their picks now to generate clicks - and there’s no consequence.

However Vegas always has to have more reasoning behind their thoughts because money is on the line.

I am not worried about this just yet. When you look at the early polls each year and the way things end up, it is usually very different. I think bama falls off because their new coach will never be Little Nicky. Texas had some really close victories against some soft Bib 12 teams so they had better buckle up. We just need a little luck because I am very confident on our coaching staff and we have quality players.

Rebuilding what was possibly the worst defense I have ever seen fielded hy LSU. We lost three probable first rounders on offense. Not saying we won't do well, but we have alot to prove.
