I really am at a loss for coming up with anyone else in sports who destroyed this much goodwill this quickly without raping or killing someone.
And even more amazingly, just about the whole universe is Team LSU on this. As much as people on the outside like to pile on LSU (and often rightfully so), I haven't seen any amount of support for JD on this.

I just don't understand what the outcome that JD#'s camp wanted or expected in this. Even this had been some unknown school. Bully a school and player to change a jersey? Get some NIL money post college for an already highly paid NFL QB at the expense of looking profoundly greedy? I just don't see the reasoning here at all beside some ego trip started by what we all are assuming is his mom.
