ESPN has worked hard to become The National Enquirer of the sports world.

Miles to Michigan....Fact.

LSU was unwilling to do anything to make the UForfeit game happen....Fact.

Peej is their inside source. Late-night, drunk Peej.

It's amazing how people can just write stories that are totally made up bullshite and pass them off on a major site like ESPN

Yeah, do people really think Joe Alleva wants the defining hire of his career here to be an assistant that failed at our arch-rival's school as a head coach?

Give me a break. ESPN just slings shite against the wall and hopes it sticks.

Will not be considered for any position at LSU, so you can just stop.

Agreed.ill be livid if the best lsu can do is a position coach that had no tier 1 job offers to even be a coordinator.

Id rather give Aranda the HC position than Coach Orgeron.

Without reading the whole thread, has Joe Alleva commented in this thread with his TigerDroppings account?

LSUAD maybe? Or was it ADLSU?

Something like that...

Surely to frick Alleva understands that he needs to make a home run hire. LSU fans have been pretty spoiled and if he hires O, and O is unsuccessful, it's his job.

But I don't believe all these insiders anyways. They don't know shite about shite.

ESPN makes money from sports soap opera BS and this is fabricated soap opera BS.

Also, if this team keeps playing like they have since O took over, I'm 100% in support of keeping him.

O has the opportunity to do what no other candidate can do. Prove he can win at LSU against the sec west. If he proves himself, why not hire him?

This hire will make or break Alleva at lsu. If he hires a successful fb coach then most of his failures will be washed away and he can be a lsu lifer if he chooses. Like you said, surely he knows this.

are we already forgetting he already has coaching experience in the SEC West? He has 1 win against MSU so far in the West.

It's more than just his job, it's his legacy. He's been planning this for years, depending upon who you talk to (think Chavis)...

I'm good with that. Coach O is one of us and he can compete with anyone in recruiting. As long as he has good assistants and lets them do their job....frick the rest of the country. #foreverLSU

Well, besides the obvious, that we need to let the season play out, I applaud Coach O and Ensminger for the job they've done so far.

I am older, so it's wonderful that these guys are effective into their mid-late-fifties and early sixties. I applaud them.

But under Miles, this program got terribly stale with a lot of older coaches. We desperately need an infusion of young blood.

Herman, keeping Aranda, and a great young OC would be just what the doctor ordered.

Lol. Sometimes I also feel a shiver. But Alleva can't be incompetent enough to offer O or Charlie fricking Strong without exhausting every better option first.

He'll have his chance in 2019 after we fire Orgeron in the middle of the season.
