But apparently not if you're a high school student at a Kentucky catholic school. Then national media can call you a racist all they want.

Mulkey has seen his questions. She’s also talked with friends who have talked with him. She knows what this is about. I’m sorry if you didn’t pick that up from her press conference.

On a totally unrelated note, I hear the Wash Post is doing a piece on Dawn’s top 5 favorite ice cream flavors.

Yes, I did pick that up.
And Mulkey may have an idea where the article is headed.
The morons in this thread who have no clue and are branding it as a blatant, defamatory lie are not in same category.
Sorry you didn't pick that up.

I think LSU learned from all the Will Wade and other drama to get out in front of the situation.

I don't know how much LSU could have gotten "in front" of the Will Wade situation. The statements caught on wiretap were part of a criminal investigation that didn't involve LSU. It was, I'm sure, a few minutes of several hours of conversations between Christian Dawkins and numerous people involved with college basketball. Including coaches. The statements from Wade, however, were largely irrelevant to the criminal investigation. Which is why Wade was never charged with anything. The FBI didn't even tell the NCAA they were recording coaches until the DOJ went public with the indictment of several coaches. It's not like the NCAA and FBI were working together. The NCAA had no idea.

The recordings of Wade only came to light (publicly) when Dawkins's defense attorneys obtained them in discovery. They then leaked them to the media. It in Sept of 2017 that the DOJ announced the arrest of several coaches. It's wasn't until March of 2019, 1.5 years later that the yahoo article involving Wade came out. And that was only right after the media got the recordings. Which the FBI didn't give them.

No crap.

The Fox News defamation (false statements) settlement was only just last April. That was $787.5 million…

I don’t care who you are, that’s a lot of cash.

Kateri Poole on Instagram wrote that she is following the team to Albany and had pic of Reese. Seems weird that she would give the author what he wants and still be following the team. I mean that would be awkward. Will see

I believe she also attended some home games in support of the team. You would think she would not participate in any trashing of CKM for the sake of the team at the very least. Whatever happened with her has been kept under lock and key by her, CKM and the team. Seems like it would be best for her that it stays that way.

Yeah, and 2 weeks ago when someone tweeted:

“didn’t yall have locker room issues too with kateri”

Kateri responded:

“never w me , leave me out of this ong.”

Doesn't sound like someone wanting to get in middle of this

I agree and she's in the portal right now, I believe, so she probably wants to stay under the radar of any trouble.

So after reading the other posts, the author has been working on the article for 2 years. I now doubt Poole is the subject and can’t be that compelling of a “source” since she quit the team - would be viewed as biased informant. This is all a nothingburger
