In most cases, what Kim did would never be suggested. In this case, it was the exact right thing to do: ...The reporter contacted former players and coaches under false pretenses.

I'm normally not a conspiracy guy but this one is pretty clear: ...Knowing how Dawn Staley can twist the narrative with her people, I wouldn't be surprised if she knows all this is going to be connected back to her.

On top of that, Kim knows what Dawn's USCe reporter guy asked about. Regardless of Kim's views and ideologies, she (unlike black people) is not protected by her skin color and has been employed in two conservative states and by one extremely conservative Baptist institution. Even though I guess that she would have promoted them regardless, what Dawn wants exposed are conservative standards that Kim had to uphold.

I love that LSU is standing behind her and basically using their unlimited TAF funds to shut these bozos down. "

I surely missed this part.

Quick question, what is this all about?

There was a tweet, Friday night, about a hit piece coming from the Bezo Post, and Mulkey was the target.

I did not see the article, but if it came out, what are they trying to pin on her? What's so bad, that had to come out, as tourney was in action???

I realize, Whitey=bad, but what else could they have said?

"Before branding...."? As has been stated, repeatedly here, CKM has had friends, former players & coaching peers who this dickweed lied to in trying to get them to talk to him; presenting himself as working on her behalf. She's obviously heard from these people. In addition, the WP, under his name, sent her a list of questions last week, same week as LSU was preparing for Rice, giving her a week to answer. So she has more than a pretty good idea what he's coming after her with in his attack piece. CKM is not flying off the rails when she talked to her attys. It will be interesting what, if anything, the Baylor administration will put forth re the Griner issues that occurred there. CKM was simply following their rules & policies re Griners'outting.

Exactly. This whole thing is dumb.

Is this a Sandusky situation? A pokey Chatman situation?

Like what is even the whole scope of this fricking article

Dawn's USCe guy is a cultural sports reporter. Without recognizing that Kim is white (meaning she has no privilege), that she's coaching in conservative states and in one conservative Baptist institution, he will call out the conservative examples of her leadership, direction and influence.

With the players they compete to recruit, Dawn will be able to use this against her with almost every one.

There you have it. You're welcome

DS is a fraud that literally accused an entire schools fan base racist.

Wanna see her true colors? Beat them or let KM win another NC.

Unfortunately, WaPo is a much larger gorilla when it comes to funds. TAF is not in the same stratosphere as Jeff Bezos.

This is what delusion looks like lol. Kim is just an unlikable personality to many and if not for her winning it wouldn't be as accepted as is. Dawn is already the face of women's basketball and is undefeated against Kim so there's that. This would be like defending the Les Miles article and saying its because they're trying to make Saban the face of football

Yawn. When does the article drop?

Same here. My thoughts are that the article was supposed to have dropped already but KM's promise of legal action might have caused it to be delayed (if not shelved). I know that the Post probably will laugh at any litigation (even if they lost) but nobody wants to look like a fool making up stuff. Add to the fire is the author is an ex USC grad that is trying to throw shade at LSU during tournament time.

m sure you will see Brittany Grenier as a frequent media guest in this discussion.

Has Griner had anything bad to say about Mulkey? I read the article where she says Mulkey basically said to keep their sexuality to themselves. The article also stated that Baylor being a Baptist college had a code of ethics that could have gotten Griner in bad standing with the school if she promoted the LGBT lifestyle, so that very well might have played into why Mulkey gave the advice that she gave.

There is zero likable about Staley. She is a good coach but otherwise is nothing more than a hateful black supremacist.

Still waiting on the Staley apology for cancelling the BYU game BEFORE any facts came out. That sure went away quickly and quietly.
