Don’t forget Coach Kim is a Covid denier with her shedding the mask at her opening presser. That’ll play too in the article.

Further, anyone who has stated Kim is an unlikeable personality has never been around her and bases their opinions on news snippets or pressers.

This^^

I’ve had multiple interactions with her and she’s always talking about personal stuff, acknowledges our son and makes conversation with him and is charismatic with all of the fans.

As far as the commenter saying Dawn Staley is the face of womens basketball…I disagree.

Caitlin Clark is on ALL womens basketball promos and the topic of most conversations from womens basketball analysts.

Idk, they don’t seem to be going for vanderveer, bluder, or auriemma.

Mulky is in direct competition with Dawn.

Why not compare women's track times, swimming times, weight lifting records etc to men. Never hear about that stuff much. I wonder why not. While we are at it, let's compare them as race care drivers, chefs, pilots, chess player, composers and mathematicians? Are men and women the same thing?

This is literally the reason why for the article.
He's been working on this article for over 2 years. This is her third season at LSU.
It's kind of convenient that he begins working on this article after she joins the SEC.

Babb also earned his BA from South Carolina, go figure!

Man if we could win it all again this year! That would knock their peckers in the dirt.

Also, they want to make SC coach the face of women basketball and they think Mulkey is a big competition and the main goal here

Yep

It kills them that the 2 biggest faces of women’s basketball are Mulkey and Caitlin Clark and some are openly admitting that

Im pretty sure after the article is published the media can discuss and perpetuate the propaganda by simply stating, “ according to the Washington Post article, which if true, blah, blah, blah.” Thus I expect no restraint from the media.

That’s exactly one of the many shitty tactics the media uses. There are a few names for the practice, like self-affirmation reporting, self-licking ice cream cone, false confirmation, etc.

I just don't think I've ever seen a press conference about an article come out BEFORE said article

I think LSU learned from all the Will Wade and other drama to get out in front of the situation.

Stop letting the media spread lies and control the narrative. Get out in front of it and defend yourself.

Dawn has two national titles to Kim’s 4. Kim won at least another national title as a player. Kim is the goat. Dawn is a wannabe with all of the media behind her. One way to slow down a coach like Kim is to write a negative piece. And while we don’t know what the questions LSU received are we did also hear that they started attempting to interview two years ago. That does fit within the Griner/ Russia story that our coach has tried to avoid for good reason. I’m pretty sure these creepy leftist hit reporters are also not looking to the thousands of players and teammates of Kim’s past who have so much positive to say of her. There will always be disgruntled players who don’t get to play for various reasons and I’m sure now is a great time to sale this trash.

What story are we getting in front of?
What lies are we objecting to?
One problem is that some in this thread are TOO far ahead of the story.
Maybe we should see what they say before branding it a shameless lie, prompted by improper motives?

I mean it’s a South Carolina alum who spent 2 years digging up anything negative they can find and allegedly lied to people about what he was doing.
