Saints center Erik McCoy said the run game struggles are putting too much pressure on Tyler Shough "to do everything" ... and the results follow: ‘I think Tyler is a baller. I think he is the future of this franchise, and I just feel like we put a lot of pressure on him today and that’s not fair to him.

Really hard to disagree with that. Moore’s seat has to be getting pretty warm.

17 carries for 18 yards. 14 carries for 11 yards without Shough. Just pitiful.

That’s one of the biggest DUH statements of the century.

The entire o line needs to get on testosterone or something. They all play softer than charmin. 0 fire 0 pride. 100 bottom action.

I’ve been saying this all season.

This is the most “ya don’t say” thing in the history of ever.

He might be a better offensive mind than Kellen. Simply states the obvious, promote his arse to coach

I was willing to give him three years to turn it around but I think he needs to go after this season. The players take the identity of their coach , he’s soft and the saints are soft. Another year isn’t going to change that

McCoy blocked just fine for the 2019-2020 runs with Drew. He blocked just fine in every system outside of Kellens....

We have to get rid of Loomis and Ellen. Whatever potential Shough has will be wasted. Need someone to be build a proper roster.

Unless they just haven't realized the importance until now and thus haven't been trying, this statement is nothing more than an admission of defeat and just putting a label on it.

If it could be fixed, it would have already been fixed.

It’s the scheme, this O-line (largely) had a good rushing attack under Kubiak

You had a tough time getting good coaches interested in this job because you didn't have a quarterback.

Now the Saints have a quarterback. We can get a good coach here.

Shough is 27. Why waste another year or two drowning with Moore. He's not a head football coach. He just doesn't have the leadership or motivational skills.

No one is going to war for Kellen Moore.

Dump Loomis and Moore now.

you notice how we cannot run the ball and we cannot stop the run?

it's just a mess. There are times when it the offense can move it and it looks good, but this style isn't sustainable.

Even when Drew Brees was playing if he was throwing 40 or 50 times that was far from an automatic win.

they have all of these quick throws that are designed for short gains that are like a run but really isn't.

Thet actually was a winnable game today. I really don't know how the Steelers are 5-2 but maybe it just speaks to the mediocrity of the league?

Fire Moore and hire Mike Tomlin! A true players’ coach.

Everyone can see that, if u don’t have a running game, that does put more pressure on QB and passing game, so get OL in gear!
