re: Elko’s reason why they outlasted us in the 4th quarter, it’s Tommy Moffitt.

Wel lost this game for 1 very simple reason: COULD NOT RUN THE FOOTBALL!!!!!

Maybe the attention needs to be on the oline evaluation and coaching, not the strength and conditioning.

Most teams are all doing similar weight training and conditioning
The Aggies dline he inherited is really good and scourton who transferred in is a stud

How about a screen? What about overrunning plays? Stupid.

Has ZERO to do with strength.

I will bet anyone a dollar to a donut that these remarks bite elko in the butt, he should have accepted the win in a mature manner, moffit had little to nothing with the win.

Hey let’s rehash again letting go of Moffitt and how it was a mistake. 20 years from now we will still be on the rant talking about how it was a mistake to let him go. It always comes back to him. Might forever.

Same issues we had all year popped up at end of that game. Nothing to do with Moffitt. We can’t run the ball which allows DCs to be more aggressive against Nuss, baiting him into mistakes. Also teams with running quarterbacks have given us issues for most of year, Nichols, South Carolina, and now A&M. Also seems the environment affected the team as a whole, including special teams. This is just Elko trying to pump his fanbase up as well as defend Moffitt who clearly felt slighted by his firing.

we know you’re a Saban and Les bitch. The 8 straight shite kicking by Saban wasn’t enough? Fournette a generational talent got 32 fricking yard rushing in one of those games. I was there at every one of the BR games witnessing the O and D lines getting their shite pushed in from 2008-2015. 2011 proved it the second time around.

You’re a fricking idiot. It’s okay though, you’re in good company on the rant.

Many things contributed to the loss, but this is ultimately what cost us the most. If you turn the ball over three possessions in a row deep in your own territory it is nearly impossible to win a game.

This narrative needs to be corrected some. We didn't have ints on 3 consecutive possession. Nuss did make bad decisions and bad throws. But it was more than 'just throw it away' or 'take a sack.'

Int1: 3rd and 2 from our from 20. Had Nuss just taken a sack or thrown it a way, we punt. Todd averaged 38 yds. So Aggie starts around their 40 and it takes what 5 or 6 plays to score instead of 1. Score 17-14 still.

Next possession: we didn't throw an int. We had 1st down at the Aggie 32. We bounced a FG snap off the holder. But on 3rd and 7, Nuss threw a pretty good ball to Zavion at the 15 but he couldn't hold on. Good throw but a big hit. Making a FG then would have slowed some of the Aggie momentum. Instead, they drove 60 yds in 7 plays. Score 17-21.

Int2: 2nd and 10 from our 25. This one hurt far more than the others because it led to a 2-score game. But it didn't have to. Even with a 1st and goal from the 18, we couldn't hold 'em to a FG (which would kept it a 1-score game). Score 17-28.

Next possession: TD. Score 23-28

But Aggie would drive 75 yds in 4 plays. Score 23-35

Int3: 1st and 10 from our 37. We hold 'em to a FG - still a 2-score game. 23-38.

I write this not to defend Nuss's bad play, but to show that far bigger factors were poor punting, dropped pass, botched FG, and most of all we never stopped Aggie once Reed took over. They scored TDs on 60 and 75 yard drives, and 1st and goal from the 18.
