Still bringing up Troy I see...... you are so sad......

According to the O can do no wrong crowd, hes only coached two football season and this only counts as his third.

Apart from a bowl win and a better final ranking given by idiot columnists, the year of the troy loss could be considered a more successful year as he finished better in conference.

it was cams offense when he was here and it is Canadas while he was here, but it would be weird if a HC didn't "meddle" with his offense, or defense and special teams for that matter. It is part of his job so if he sees something that needs correcting to step in.

Ok, great. I'm glad we've cleared that up.

It just seems like people think that Miles was doing things with the offense that he shouldn't have been doing.

If you are confused about the arse kicking in consecutive games:

The first game was in the Alabama State Championship game. I think the Bama fan - Capt Panic or Capt Scared - said the score was 52-7 in favor of LSU's Parrish' team.

The second consecutive game was in Hawaii at the Polynesian Bowl. I think LSU's Parrish and his team were with Tua's team in calling for Tua to be benched - just so the game would be interesting. It was on late here in the East and Tua was horrible. After watching for a while I set the DVR to record and went to sleep. It didn't help - Baby-Tua was just as terrible on a recorded replay as he was on live TV.

not me. I always said Cam sucked as an OC and if Miles would have pulled his head out his arse and fired Cam then Miles would probably still be here. Miles, like Orgeron, was a very good coach. The difference being that Orgeron seems more proactive in correcting issues that Miles wouldn't have even known were issues. Seemed Miles was fully on board with the Cam/Miles offense.

i thought you were talking about something meaningful.

you could've just said 'high school' and saved me 38 seconds of reading that jibberish

You don't think the Tigers are loaded with talent?

You don't think this team has talent? I see more overall talent and experience than any LSU team since 2011. 2013 probably had more talent on offense but it was limited by the Cam/MIles offense strategy.

Oh well.

My post was as much or more for the Bama fan than it was for you. I can live with your loss of 38 seconds.

I’d love to know how many head coaches just let their OC do what they want with no questions asked?

Big difference between asking questions and limiting your play caller.

He’s the head coach. Why can’t you loons understand that? He should’ve limited Canada. His scheme was a terrible fit. He should’ve limited everything last year because the o-line couldn’t block air some games.

Let’s just see what happens this year. He’s shown he’s trying to fix the shite so let’s just see how THIS season plays out, huh?

It’s crazy how miserable some of you are when it comes to this shite.

Who is saying Orgeron has no involvement in the offense?
Exactly.

Who made the final decision to move to the Spread/RPO? Could turn out to be the best decision ever made by an LSU HC.

when your new OC is more about self promotion instead of working with the HC towards the goal of improving the sputtering offense and is pre snap shifting a young and inexperienced Oline side to side and putting multiple players in motion and the offense players are more confused than anything else then it is up to the HC to call out the OC and "limit your play caller"

If that’s the extent of his involvement that would be great.

Personally I think E pushed him in this direction.

If you listen to his introduction press conference last year he says they’re gonna run a lot of RPOS and be a fastball offense.
He just didn’t know how to do it:

And I’ll give O credit for trusting E and making this move.

From what DJ Mangus said, it was Orgeron that zeroed in on Brady. when Brady did a presentation with the Saints in BR. And O that kept Brady for more than an hour over his time to fire questions at him.

E gets credit for help in making this transition, but so does O.

So what's different about this year? There's always going to be an issue. Coaching in April, as he calls it "talking season" is one thing, but when they put on the pads he changes his tune.

You want to tweak and modernize that, but not totally change it- or you risk alienating that recruiting pipeline.

I think changing it to be more like the “Saints” should be safe as far as keeping the pipeline??
that's good. I was talking about the Canada thing. Outside of the personality issue, he also seemed to be implementing more of a non-traditional style of offense, maybe a bit gimmicky. Stud RBs and WRs don't want that, they want something that preps you for the next level.

D-Line coach hiring a failed Les Miles offensive coach. What could possibly go wrong?

Ree isn’t positive, he posts a pic of Orgeron stretching then calls everyone morons, and does it again with his next thread a few hours later

He’s one of the more toxic Rant posters imo
