Sheerin hasn't been there, and this was his moment. These are now elimination games, every one of them can be the last. We ain't going to a regional unless we win this tournament outright.
He came into a tight game with the bases loaded, shut that down, and dominated the rest of the way. Our season didn't end with him on the mound. We need more of that fire.

To all of the emotional idiots no this is not what you want your players to do. Yelling f**k you! at the dugout after a strikeout is not passion for the game it is emotional immaturity. And for the hypocrites in here your take would be COMPLETELY different if it was the OK pitcher that had done that. I understand the heat of the moment but that doesn’t excuse the poor sportsmanship by Sheerin. Multitude of things he could have yelled without directing it to the opposing dugout that would have been acceptable.
