And that shite hasn’t happened all season?
I’m talking to the Nega-Tigers.

Yes there are faults with the pitching staff there is evidence of that. There is also evidence that it hasn’t really mattered all while playing in the best conference in America.
The goal is to win. This team has done alot of that. Keep losing sleep being miserable.

I will say we did have Edwards and Shores for the two best series out of the pen. Lineup has been amazing though.

Also by the time you make it to Omaha, you SELL OUT to win games with the pen. The “who’s available” question becomes much easier to answer in that it’s basically “everyone but the guy who started yesterday”

The offense is fricking incredible. Definitely good enough to carry the team to a title if it gets hot, even with shitty pitching.

It’s also been an incredibly fun season in which we’ve essentially locked up a national seed with nine games left, and a historic one as far as how good crews and Skenes are.

That being said if we’re being honest, our pitching outside of Skenes is mediocre at best. And while not necessarily fatal in the postseason, it leaves us with very little margin for error and it will be very hard to win a title without substantial improvement.

But it’s pretty miserable to focus on that now. Just enjoy the offense and the success

You’re right but it’s as simple as the best team doesn’t always win the whole thing. All it takes is one game of having cold bats. Every team in Omaha will be “able” to beat us. I guess my point is it’s going to come down to playing well when it matters. If we have a pitching performance like we did today in Omaha, we will lose.

Yes, but do you realize we may have to score 18 15 runs to win against the better teams ?

Agree 100000%. Baseball is the sport that the best team wins it all the least often. Nature of the game.

Post was for the real Nega’s. Enjoy the journey of this team. Yes we can be beat. Yes we can beat anyone and win it all.

Technically, two different teams can beat us in Omaha.

Which can be mitigated by great defensive play. They need to work on fielding and errors in the infield. We can't fix injuries in the bullpen, but we can play better behind the man on the mound.

We’ve played some of the best teams we’ll face all season. We haven’t had to score that much. Why would it change?

Same people who bitched all season about how the 2019 Defense was such a liability. Miserable mofos.

Yeah my thoughts exactly!! We are crushing the ball all the way to a national title. This team is special, there is no reason they should be beat twice.

To win in college baseball. You need an offense, two ace starting pitchers and one stopper.

You tell me if LSU has all that.

LSU has the best record in the best conference and has been #1 from jump.

Has enough to have the best record in the best conference and be number 1 from day 1.

WE MAY NOT WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Might not happen. Odds are against literally everyone in baseball lol. LSU had been the best team in America thus far this season. Period.
