Does anyone think that Kiffin will stay in Baton Rouge long term. 4 years max I'm thinking

I could be wrong and I hope I am. Saban left college football and decided it was the best place for him.
Howard Schnellenberger left for the USFL and bombed. Jimmy johnson led the original bad boys and he left an area that he retired to after he left for the NFL. The one place that would gut LSU fans would be if he left for Alabama.
But he will leave and I think we all know it. I hope he wins multiple championships in tje first 4 builds a dynasty and he ends up staying q0 plus years.
The question here is who right now could come in and do what Kiffin does? Not sure that person exists right now. In 6 years there might be a guy.
We all see what LSU and booster can do with the right guy. They have the money. They just have to have the guy who excites the fan base and booster. Kiffin is that guy now.

He's coached one game and we can't even enjoy it a full week before we talk about this shite?

I could see a NFL team taking a chance again and maybe Kiffin gets tired of the college bs you have to deal with if things don't change

i mean I dont expect him to retire here but i do expect about 5-8 years and then head to the nfl. I dont think he leaves for another college job except maybe texas

I don’t care. He can do what he wants. No one stays anywhere now long term. He’s here now. Enjoy it. If he leaves, I’ll miss him but I’m not going to worry about it. I don’t expect anyone to stay anywhere more than a year. It sucks, but it is what it is.

I genuinely believe he wants to build a dynasty at LSU and then retire.

I think this is his last stop
He idolizes Saban
He knows what Saban thinks of this place and Saban regretted his decision to leave. That carries a lot of weight.
He has the contract, resources, NIL, recruiting etc. I could keep going, but you get the picture

Why would he leave? He’s basically tried everything else and he is at a top shelf program where he is beloved. He can get basically any player he wants.
He’s home.
He’s home.

i have a hard time seeing an NFL team poaching him. He's proven that he's hard to control when he disagrees with his higher ups, and there is more tolerance for that in major FBS programs than in an NFL organization.

Yes.
He won't go to another college, but may go the NFL route again.
That said, I am sure Saban expressed his regret about leaving LSU multiple times to Lane (probably including while they were at Bama).

If this administration stays a while I dont see him leaving for a good 6-10 years.

Where do you think he's going to go? There are maybe two better jobs in college football and he's already flamed out in the NFL. Might he give it another shot? Maybe but I don't see it and will enjoy it while he is here. Stop being a negative nancy and enjoy the here and now.

If he leaves it will be for the NFL. If he prefers the college game he will be at LSU

His next move will be to the NFL.

Exactly, there is no step up unless he goes NFL, but he’s on record that he’s not interested in going back.

He brought his whole family here - including the ex-wife, who has opened some sort of fitness place next to Torchy's Tacos.
He is here for a while.

He might leave or he might not.
Everyone thought Saban wouldn’t stay that long at bama based on his career of moving along.
Lane is getting older even though he doesn’t look it.
We do know his biggest mentors told him to take the job. We also know how this state will support a winner. He can even ask Wade how much love the fans have for you if you adapt to them and win.
We also know no one is out paying us for him. We aren’t going to tell him no on pretty much anything as long as he wins. At this point the nfl payday isn’t the same gap it was when Saban jumped.
My suggestion is sit back and enjoy the ride for however long it last.

Absolutely no way to know. Not my life, so I have zero control.
I'm just living in the moment and loving every bit of it.

Bro, it's bad when you start a thread and you get the same amount of downvotes as Chadboy gets upvotes.
