Do you trust coaches to choose the right qb?

Seems like there’s a lot of player fans around here who will only be happy if their guy is chosen to be the starting qb.
I think we have to be open to the possibility that the coaches know what they want and will make the right choice in the best interest of the team.
The question is-
Do you trust them?

You are choosing the one that gives you the best opportunity to win that first game
After that, that choice still has to play well enough to keep the job
If not, you make a change to benefit the team
It's not like any other position
If so and so struggles at right tackle you make a change
If so and so struggles at safety you make a change if you think it improves the team
Same thing with QB
Or maybe any other options for any position won't help you so you have to live with what you have

Not at all.
I think the selection should be subject to a TD/twitter fan poll. It's the only way to be certain LSU is choosing the right QB.

No, everything we have heard from the coaches that finally gives us relief knowing that a professional is in charge of the program is not enough.
If we don't get a poll to decide our QB, we burn down the program.

They get fired if they lose, so yeah, I would be confident they will play who the feel gives the team the best chance to win.

I think we should just let the geniuses of the Rant run the athletic department. We have so many talent scouts, offensive and defensive coordinators, etc, it's truly one of God's natural resources, wasted.
