Depends. I generally enjoy seeing Michigan and Notre Dame get the piss smacked out of them by SEC schools when the opportunities present themselves.

I do, but only because I live in Michigan and everyone in the Midwest thinks the SEC sucks and we’re all over rated.

Nope. I get a good laugh watching them get beat to be honest. I was hoping like hell Miami would pull it off last weekend against Florida. That would have been a lovely start to the season actually.

No. Any team in the SEC winning anything hurts LSU’s recruiting.

While normally I would agree with this and thought it was no-brained to pull for Miami over Florida, Oregon v Auburn is a bit different. It’s very possible both LSU and Oregon find themselves with 1 loss to end the season fighting for the 4th playoff spot. Assuming LSU’s loss isn’t to Auburn, an Auburn win over Oregon on a neutral field could wind up being a defacto tie-breaker. I think I’d rather Auburn beat Oregon to get them out of the way and hope Auburn takes 4-5 SEC “L”s.

I get what you are saying but 1) I really don’t think the committee would use the transitive property as a tie breaker. If Oregon is 11-1 they would probably have won their conference and the committee has said do look at conference titles and the teams in question. So far the teams that made the playoffs that didn’t win their conference had 1 loss and at least 2 other P5 conference winner had 2 loses

In 2006 probably. Now, frick the SEC. don’t even care to be SEC Champs if it means an easier route to the Playoffs.

I only pull for a team if it helps LSU. Other than that, they can all EABOD!

Always! It makes the SEC look better when we all win. Helps playoff committee selection

totally true..PERCEPTION is reality.
the stronger the SEC is perceived, the less a 1 loss will count against a team

only exception for me is during the season when I may want another WEST member to incur a loss and make us place higher.

this is so overrated. is the ACC perceived as strong? Has that hurt Clemson? Oregon and Washington had 1 loss and made the playoffs was it because the Pac 12 was strong those years? What about the Big XII is that perceived as strong? OU has the third most playoff appearances all with 1 loss

I hope the rest of the conference turns into 13 dumpster fires with the NCAA hammer hitting each one. Screw the SEC!!

Not anymore.

In the BCS era, it helped LSU for the rest of the conference to look good. There were only two playoff spots.

Now, take care of business and you're in.

Team, division, conference..,.if you don't then you're an idiot because them losing hurts you in the long run......don't have to like them but you need them to win.
