I will admit I'm biased towards the SEC....it's kinda like you can fight your brother...but nobody else can

I can see why people root for SEC teams in the regular season though I think the impact on SOS is grossly exaggerated. Rooting for them in Bowls is flat out stupid

I root for every team on LSU's schedule to win every other game is except for when we play them. Outside of that, pretty indifferent about who Missouri plays on a given week.

I'm from Alexandria...but I live in California. Every year I have to listen to people whine about how the SEC is overrated.They really believe the Pac 12 is better .A lot of them think that southern people are stupid . When Cam Newton beat Oregon in the BCS game ..I loved every minute of it .

Usually I pull for all SEC teams to lose except for LSU. Other SEC teams winning only hurts LSU recruiting.

When it comes to recruiting...there are so many other factors that these kids look at besides just a team's record ...or who just won the big game .

Almost never - usually only if it benefits LSU. For example, I hope Auburn beats Oregon today. For one, I hate Oregon and their ugly-arse uniforms. Second, an Auburn win over Oregon will look better for LSU when we beat Auburn's arse. Doesn't necessarily mean I am 'rooting' for Auburn, just want a 'W' in their column for LSU's benefit.
But, make NO mistake about it - I NEVER root for a Gump or Arkanshit win. Although there is zero chance it will happen, I hope Duke blasts those freakin' Gumps today. Arkanshit can go 0-12 and I will be thrilled. And, as arrogant as they are starting to become, A&M is quickly joining them. Old Piss and Piss State - screw 'em. Go Memphis and Ragin' Cajuns today. Floriduh is there also - the only good win from them is if is comes over one of our West rivals.
