Do you really think this Thursday the SEC is actually going to vote to kick LSU out?

That is what’s being said. This Thursday, the call to vote LSU out is going to happen!

Yes I unfortunately have no faith in our soft-skinned weenie commissioner that he is willing to take it to this level
When he should instead be on Lane’s side and thank him for kicking an ACC program up and down the field and raking in ratings
Sankey is as unprofessional and corrupt as it gets. He forgot the mission of his role as commissioner

I have no idea anymore.
Nothing that the SEC is doing makes sense. And it makes less sense now that LSU has taken the players in question off the table.
Seems the sensible thing now would be for the SEC to drop the suit and have everybody just move on.
But something is off and I don’t see that happening.

Not a chance....all posturing by Sankey.

Numbers being thrown around for breaking the contract with Disney (ESPN) are billions, with a “B”.
The SEC has money, but they don’t have that kind of money.
No one is getting kicked out.

That is a little too far..

I think they're going to try and settle with lsu being penalized, which is absurd. I hope LSU doesn't blink if they try and settle with any kind of penalties outside of maybe a hollow apology from Lane for the comment made before halftime(I don't agree that it should punishable) I'd just rather get this over. Its enough already.

Seriously.....did you just wake up from a nap?

If LSU suspends kiffin for speaking up for what's right, im done with it.
This is all absurd at this point.

At this point, I think Kiffin will be suspended.
The SEC is clearly out for blood.

Does the SEC have authority to suspend a coach?

Yes, for breaking their rules.
LSU has broken exactly 0 of the clearly defined rules. It would be yet another massive overreach by Sankey and the SEC.

No players rostered means no rule was broken. A comment at halftime isn't against a rule. Sankey and the SEC if they pursue this are playing with fire. LSU can feasibly walk and all games scheduled are valid. If the SEC ot another team tries to back out the suits will get wild.

I doubt very seriously that changing conference membership breaks the contract entirely. It might trigger a renegotiation phase, but that’s it.

Maybe they just got off of a nursing shift?

For what exactly?
Posted on 9/9/26 at 12:23 am to Kat7611
No, its a vote to have the right to kick out a member under this type of action. Different from actually voting them out

The SEC is stupid. They aren’t that stupid.
