Not the same scenario. LSU had a better resume, more wins against ranked teams. UGA lost to the team that LSU beat in the SECCG.

Oklahoma State has a better resume than Bama. Bama's biggest win is losing at home to LSU.

I hate hypotheticals, but let's just say we lost to Bama in OT. Would y'all say we deserve a rematch? I sure as hell would.
I think the real difference is that no matter how much we would say or want a rematch, we can't have one. The season will be over. You see, all the whining right now will produce a result one way or the other. Your hypothetical does not hold up. Their bitching will result in someone going to the BCS game. Should we have to ask for a rematch will only result in a tough shite, better luck next year.

Not so much that as:
1) already beat them, in spite of what the Gumps say;
2) will make it into the NC game to determine the best in the nation when they've already proven they're not even the best in their own division;
3) many feel that playing in and winning a conference championship title game should count for something;
4) the arrogant and superior attitude the Gumps have just piss us off;
5) nobody outside the state of Alabama wants to see a rematch.
