AND people keep looking at the teams 1 loss and comparing it but people forget to look at the teams that each of these prospective #2's beat. OSU has a better resume'.

Why are they the second best team tho? I guess you're right I don't get it because I think you should give a team with a tougher schedule and conf champ win a shot. They haven't lost to bama or lsu yet so why should they be pushed out? Because bama is in the sec and they have great defensive stats? Please... If you honestly can't see how this is screwed up then you are delusional. It may be a rematch but that doesn't mean it's the most fair way of deciding a champion. I know I know two best teams blah blah but it's stupid to punish a team for not being in the sec. Just my opinion tho

Oh, they're good. They just don't deserve another shot and that is the difference.

The only reason UGA didn't go in 2007 is because ESPN told everyone you can't send a team that didn't win their conference to the title game. Now that the exact same scenario has played out, it's ok to send Bama. Hypocrisy.

I'm fine with either. But Bama didn't win their conference... They didn't even win their Division. OSU has more wins over Quality teams by far. I am convinced that OSU lost that game due to the distractions related to that plane crash and the OSU basketball coaches. All of the coaches know each other even in different sports... Major distraction for the team. Not making excuses for them... But many were saying prior to the game - that it should have been postponed. All of their other games, in other sports were... For almost a week.

I think it has nothing to do with who is the second best team in the nation.
It is about this:
Has Bama earned the right for a rematch or has Okla St. earned the right to a title shot?
That is the question being decided.

LSU is ready for anybody, doesn't matter who. When Miles' teams have a lot of time to prepare they usually wipe the floor with whomever it is.

yes...the BCS has constantly reminded us over the years they are there to match the two best teams in the country...and this is based off of their entire body of work for the season...and the BCS came about from many of seasons when one team had one loss and crying by coaches at the end of the season about how one loss should not undue an entire body of work throughout the season...

Then if the "system" should have no problem putting OSU in the title game right?
Well all were are hearing is how OSU lost to ISU in double over time on the road so they shouldn't be in it even though they still have the better body of work throughout the season...
if Bama gets in then everything that has been preached about from the BCS since its inception from now on is total BS...

You realize I'm not calling out LSU right? I'm calling out ESPN's hypocrisy. They told the nation, "You can't send UGA. They didn't win their conference championship." The last week, especially last night, they have said, "It doesn't matter that Bama didn't win their conference. It should just be the top 2 teams." How can anyone not see the corruption?
