I would say if you beat the #1 team in the country on an improbable walk-off missed FG return in the final game of the season to both win the West and likely secure a spot in the National Championship game it is ok to storm the field.
Not so much if you beat the #8 team in the country, a program that hasn't been good in over a decade, in game 6 of the season.

I sure as hell hope not. We should be above that as a program that has won 3 national titles this century. I would only think it was acceptable against bama but still would hate for our fans to storm the field.

I’d say it depends I know that’s not popular. If we win no, but let’s say it’s a multiple overtime game and something incredible happens like a 4th down td or incredible stop or turnover then sure

We were #24 and had been ranked in the top 10 earlier that year.
Bama wasn't #1 - they had lost to Ole Miss a month earlier.

LSU should never rush the field. Even if we beat #1 Bama at home. We are a established program and have the second most ships in the 21st century. We are supposed to beat people at home. It should be expected not a surprise with antics to follow.
