I don’t think the sanctions are going to be as bad as many fear. LSU has taken a lot of internal steps since the witch hunt began. NCAA does not think about bans the same as it once did and now they have to consider NIL as a factor.

I think the betting favorite is everyone leaves, aside from the walk ons. What's the incentive to stay?

I wouldn’t be heartbroken if Reid transferred elsewhere, when he was on the court, his play was more of a liability than an asset.

His biggest move will be over the next few weeks.
Keep as many as we can

He's also a good kid and is tight with Gaines so let's hope they love it here.
Hard to see Gaines fitting in the new Culture/Alignment.

If mr Mcmahan can hold our team together and reel in the class again I’ll be on board as hard core as I was for our general.
Scott still isn’t a god though

I would love for them to stay but I just have a feeling we’re going to have Majority of our current players leave to go somewhere else or pro.

Does anyone else feel like postseason bans are an antiquated punishment? All it does is hurt the new coach and the new players who did not participate in any of the wrongdoing. Seems like a hefty fine should be enough. When you consider a program basically has to start over with a new coach and roster, that's almost punishment enough. You lose your coach, key returning players and your recruiting class scatters like roaches when the lights come on. Of course the NCAA in the bizarro world they function in punishes people who have nothing to do with the crime. Oklahoma state had a postseason ban this year and not one of their players even new what the allegations were from because they were in Middle School.

I hope Murray stays. "There's Something About Murray"
See what I did there?
I like the way Murray plays and I think he can be much more of an asset in an offense that doesn't sit on the perimeter all the time.
Reid, has some potential. He is not quick enough and big enough on the interior and gets overwhelmed if the D collapses on him. He needs more size to be able to post and needs to move without hesitation when he gets the interior. This offense with such little interior offense drove me crazy this year.
I hope CMM can keep these guys listed as they all have potential and need development.
How good is CMM good at developing?

FWIW, Alabama is recruiting from the current roster and a couple of the signees/commits.
H2H on almost every recruit on each roster the last 2 years, but Oates is clean.

I don’t think anyone with a brain thinks Oates is clean. Pretty much anyone who recruits at a high level isn’t clean. But he isn’t brazen enough to pay players straight out of his checking account and get caught red-handed.

Based upon his time at Murray St. he is a good recruiter and developer of talent.
But whether or not that translates to our team is TBD.

Post season is not as impactful for guys that see pros in their future.
If they see playing time, coaching that will develop the skills to get them drafted, and gameplanning ability to make them shine for scouts... then they will stay. If they think the system will not fit them, the staff will not develop them, or they will fail to see the court enough, then they will go where they think they cam get what is best for them.

Why is that?
He’s athletic hustles and shot much better in the second half of the year.

Reid was not good anyway. I would prefer Shareef O'neal instead.

When their careers are over, Reid’s is going to completely dwarf reef’s imo.
Efton is gonna blow up next year, its sad it wont be here.
