SEC games will be coming live to ESPN+ (streaming) via the SEC Network. Disney's channels will be the exclusive platform for all SEC sports going forward, including prime time SEC match ups.

I'm guessing Sankey will announce more specifics within the hour.

Disney will ruin us for sure. Not sure I want to be under their thumb totally.

CBS helped the sec build their brand. Every Saturday at 2:30 everyone in the country tuned in to watch the game of the week on CBS. We’ll see if ESPN continues with that slot

I agree. Be careful for what you wish for in 2020. Disney is to the SEC as China is to the NBA.

They will. See the updated OP with the tweet from Rabalais.

2:30 PM slot will remain, with more SEC games on ABC in prime time.

Brad and Gary will still have games on CBS, just not SEC.

Yep. The SEC essentially "owned" one of the big networks. Because of that, CBS put a ton of production value into the broadcast. Yes, the game were incredibly long. But that 2:30 spot had become an SEC tradition. Now, they are just one of the other conferences competing for eyes on ESPN (at least with respect to their marquee matchups)

You mean throw him in the briar patch?

If anyone didn’t understand that, ask your dad/grandpa.

This times 100.

The graphics are crisp as f*ck on CBS.

Maybe CBS will get the NBA back.

Disney is the company that turned ESPN into a training ground for liberal announcers & analysts. Expect a lot more blm statements.

Then don't watch. My god everything with some of you idiots is focused on your hatred of libs. Everything has to be criticized. Maybe you shouldn't watch to own all libs - show them!

Of course, you'll never acknowledge the additional money that the LSU Athletic Dept will receive will continue to strengthen its program and build a bigger moat (for all SEC teams, and Big 10 teams will have the same because of their tv deals). The SEC and Big 10 tv deals are so much more lucrative to schools than any other conference deals - but man, the libs!
