Night games?
LSU is a big reason night football eventually became a thing across the country
No one was playing at night up until espn got on board with televising games
Eventually it became prime time viewing with Ron Franklin while cbs and abc were showing network tv shows
Even cbs was reluctant to show night games with the 230 window as its feature game

Primetime is always the coveted TV spot. It’s not like all top 25 teams can play during the same time anyways.

And I have no idea why. The majority of the viewers are more likely to watch a game at night when they can’t do anything outside lol

Because ABC had the prime time night game. It’s why the Big 10 and Fox has their #1 game at noon. Putting the top 3 games of the day all at the same time isn’t good for anyone’s ratings. It’s not that hard to understand.

No but our New Coach has been bitchn about not getting night games at Ole Miss, No worry CLK you are now at the cathedral of College football. Night games are legendary and you even got a night game at Ole Miss because you are now at LSU.

I can respect that. Midday games are a part of their football culture in the fall. And I'd probably opt for a day game in November too if I lived up there.
