The same pride you should feel getting a participation trophy at the Special Olympics

Like I said - plenty of receipts around here of people who just a few days ago were saying Frank Wilson should be retained in some capacity. But now that he's going to Ole Miss, he's a bum?!? Kiffin clearly was trying to work it out with him otherwise why would he have stayed and be coaching in the bowl game. Did no one wonder if Frank loves LSU so much and he now has a legit shot at winning with Kiffin at the helm, why would he not stay?
Not sure how this got 8 upvotes.

get what you're saying and it makes sense. Some fans refuse to face the reality of the situation, but let him a few games, and those same fans will be calling for his firing.
IMO, I wish he would have gotten rid of the entire defensive staff. Our defense was improved, but they were no where near elite by any means. Blake Baker has been at LSU for two years - plenty of time to correct our problems - and we still can't stop a running QB.
LSU fans constantly boast about our defense because our offense was so putrid, anything the defense did was going to stand out. I consider Baker an average DC, but hopefully with Kiffin around we can score enough points to overcome Baker's shortcomings. Once he learns how to stop a running QB, I'll consider him a better than average DC.
this is worse than op . take a look at our defense if you remove parts of the vandy game and the second half against aggie. we would probably rank top 3 without those . as of now were probably top 25 on d

Looks like you’ll find out soon enough. Based on your upvote to downvotes, 1 in 100 posters on this board are as retarded as you are.

Because they are not great.

I’m never really sure when seeing a post like this if you are just a troll or if you’re really this stupid
on the likelihood it’s the later the simple explanation is you are asking the wrong question. The Heach Coach hires the staff and when a head coach is fired, technically the entire staff is fired. Now when you fire a coach in mid season like this, the school needs someone to stay and finish the season but once it’s over, whether they stay or not is up to the new coach. So asking if the new coach is so good why are the old coaches leaving does not make any sense. It’s his choice not theirs. Now some he asks to stay may still leave but that’s for a variety of reasons, some get promotions or may join the old coaches etc….

Because he was not offered a job on the coaching staff apparently. He can still love LSU and not want to stay on and take a demotion to analyst or something. Kiffin, unlike Kelly has experience recruiting in this part of the country and state, I’m not worried about him not retaining a guy who’s sole value may actually be some what obsolete anyway. As a RB coach without recruiting considerations he’s just not very good

top 20 in every important defensive category with the best player missing half the season
improving from the worst P4 defense to this is miraculous
How fricking stupid are you?

Lsu had a better defense. Ole miss had a better offense. We are basically trading our offensive staff for their offensive staff.
