I'm guessing he shot himself while driving then the wreck.

What a sad, sad situation. Having no real knowledge of his life, it is difficult to know what was going on with him but some of his actions make me wonder if he was spiraling into depression. The older I get, the more it makes me sad when I see young lives lost in what seems like senseless situations.

Oh his defense attorney has words.
I don’t have much sympathy here. Sure there’s a presumption of innocence from a legal standpoint, but I can use my own brain and draw my own conclusions.
And the kid fricked up. All there is to it.

Nothing. Kids have always been impulsive and stupid and have done impulsive and stupid things.

This is beyond stupid, this is mental.

Nah. It’s true. Young people are fricking stupid. There’s a reason the aphorism “youth is wasted on the young” still sticks.

Holy shite. It sounds like that guy really had some serious issues and it’s sad that he wasn’t able to/did not get help
Nope. Stop it. Cut that bs right now.
There isn’t a single universe that exists where Lacy wasn’t supported thru this. You can only help people if they want to be helped. Don’t make this sound like it was other peoples fault.

Being really really good at football will result in a lot of people to overlooking your faults and letting you skate on stuff.

Was the family member involved in the altercation bitching to Lacy about costing them their meal ticket with his legal issues? Wouldn't surprise me if they did and then the pressure just got to him and he gave up.
Damn shame, and thoughts with the family.

Its people like you who have clearly never had family members or friends with mental illness. You can't just dismiss everyone as bad people because some have crap going on you don't know about.

I'm sorry but killing someone then driving away without alerting first responders is shitty by itself, now he's shooting warning shots at family members and getting involved in high speed chases?
First off, you have no idea if he even realized an accident happened behind him once he passed. It was an awful situation and he should have been held accountable, but acting like he clipped a bunch of cars, saw the accident happening and then fled is not what I recall reading in the initial stories. I haven't kept up with it, but still.
It also does not say whether he shot himself before he crashed or after. For all we know, he crashed the car and said "screw it, I am going to end it".
I am not defending the guy, but people are just making out like they know all the details and can judge anyone.
In the end, too many lives lost and any life lost to suicide is a sad one. If not for the victim, at least for their loved ones.
