CJJ playing with us on a CFB Saturday. I’ll be waiting patiently until Project comes back with the scoop

re: Grand isle surf fishing

We caught a lot of really solid trout in the surf on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Most of them were 16"-20". State Park Rocks and the "new" rocks on the West End. We were in my boat, but the wade fishermen were doing just as much damage albeit nipple-high in water

The bite would come and go, but there's still tons of fish out there. Soft Dine slowly working it did well early. Then once 10am rolled around, Carloina Rigged Croakers got the big girls biting.

Slow outging tides all day. Water was absolutely beautiful out front. The best fishing was found at the down-current point of the rocks. We got up and moved a few times when wade fishermen would start heading our way. Each rock pile fished the same.
Lotta guys think harnesses are silly until you need one to save you ??
IMO- It’s one or two things with the owners voting this way

1) they want to keep their building quiet and quaint. They don’t want 100 paparazzi sitting around their front entrance

2) Its their F-Shack complex. Again, see above.

So a severe thunderstorm changes pressure on a fish over a 6-24 hour period that equates to about a 2-10cm depth change in water. A fish at 200 feet is experiencing 6100 hPa so a change of 2-10 hPa would most likely go unnoticed

I agree with this 100%. Science is science!

But theres also a reaction in the smallest baitfish at the waters surface that is created from pressure changes. It’s highly likely changing the feeding habits of every predator species below it. The deeper fish aren’t spunked up due to the pressure, it’s because of the sequence of activities that lead all the way down to them.

Congrats to LSU, but today was absolutely comical from the NCAA from only playing LSU music during scores and umps. Not to mention the broadcast was unbearable with SEC bias. They take catering to where the money is going to another level without it even being subtle This was a comment made by one of CC’s fans. I love the part about the commentators

Buddy must have only watched a few minutes of the entire CWS. Then he clearly just regurgitated some BS that he read while they were losing. Life comes at you fast! Better buckle up and prepare to get wrecked :)

Boys got that Karl Anthony-Towns type of vibe, eh?

Because this game will come down which team has better relievers

If you don’t even know our relievers names or know how to decipher the season stats- what’s the point of asking?

What a novel idea :|

I guess it isn’t obvious to everyone that the game-plan is to watch a lot of pitches and make Flukey labor. Is it working? Not really. This dude fills the zone. Will it eventually work? Probably so.

Just had a stroke trying to read that

I actually kinda feel bad for them

Give yourself a minute or two to sit with your Arkansas emotions, and then snap the frick out of it and focus on how amazing it must be to be an LSU ballplayer right now.

Switch your focus from the negative/depressing side of things, rather to the positive side of this outcome. No sense and letting others posts/topics affect you emotionally
90% of catchers won’t wrangle that pitch from Noot

Do some research on knee-down vs crouched. I think you’ll be surprised.

This cws is showing why an ai strike zone is needed. As catchers get better at framing/stealing pitches, the more this is evident

I can promise that you’d hate an AI Strike zone even more than what you’re accustomed to with NCAA officiating

I usually defend the umps, but this dude sucks. Getting fooled by framing every time

Getting fooled by the framing? Wtf does this even mean?

Russel Reynolds could be needed in a long relief role tonight. Hope he’s prepared for that possibility.

Bears Achilles is the slider. Every time.

He swings at bad pitches. It’s not just the slider.

Elevated FB, low CH, outside SL it’s all the same. He’s constantly working from behind and then guessing
