He probably wasn't allowed at LSU's pro day (was he?) and watched his teammates and friends participate in the Spring Practice on TV that afternoon. Had to have been triggering.
I believe he did IIRC

I thought he was there. Fox8NOLA did a long story on him tonight and showed him in street workout clothes catching passes, etc.
He wasn't invited to the combine.

Still waiting for you to write up as passionate a post about someone like Aaron Hernandez or Henry Ruggs. But you have Geaux in your name, so it all makes sense.
Kid was going to pay the price for his actions. Me not celebrating his taking his own life as “Good Riddance” like some of you does not equate me thinking he was some poor kid without blame, but it’s not surprising the supposed “Christians” on this board speaking this way about another human being.

I think the accident in ChackBay and subsequent arrest weighed very heavily on him. Interviews I read/saw with his high school and ULL coaches depicted him as always having a smile on his face, telling jokes and caring about others. He was upset when his penalty cost #8 a record breaking TD.
Most young people/kids his age aren't faced with this type of adversity.
Many of the so called LSU fans eat their own players when they don't live up to some imagined standards.
A lot of people on here and elsewhere have said he murdered an ex-Marine. That had to have affected his mental health.
Those criticizing his mom are clueless. She seems to be level headed and is well spoken.
The lack of empathy/sympathy and cold-heartedness exhibited by many so called fans is discouraging. On 12.17.24, there was no intent on his part to have an accident or cause a person to die.
It is possible to feel bad for the accident victim and the tragedy of Lacy's suicide simultaneously.
Social media and people really suck sometime.

I also think mental health and life after college is something that needs to be taken more seriously. Some kids just are not ready for the world.
Well this wasn’t some normal I’m out of eligibility and now have to get a corp job thing.
This was he made a mistake and was facing real jail time and guilt over a wreck that killed someone. As part of that he wasn’t going to be drafted and it would have been probably at least a few years even if he escaped without being in jail before he could even get a sniff at a practice field. Once he got in the argument Saturday night that small sliver of a dream was ended.
Incredibly sad situation all around. There was probably a lot that went into what happened Saturday, unfortunately a lot of it self inflicted.

He was at LSUs pro day. It caused a stir since it was controversial being that he had unsettled legal matters.

Nobody would give a frick about this guy if he didn’t score some touchdowns for LSU lol. I’m an LSU fan and I’m not losing any sleep over it. And if we’re being honest neither is anyone else in this thread pretending to care.

Has it been proved he shot himself and not by a police officer during the chase? A forensic study may ensue here, and should.

I don’t think police officers generally shoot at moving vehicles. It’s not the movies.

Article said body cam footage confirmed no shots fired at the vehicle or after the crash. Maybe try reading words in the news before commenting misinformation.

He definitely ran at pro day.

About 30 minutes later, a constable spotted Lacy driving and attempted to make a traffic stop. Deputies said Lacy refused to stop and was chased for several miles before crashing.
A report from the Harris County Sheriff's Office says that when deputies walked up to Lacy's vehicle to take him into custody, they didn't realize he shot himself during the pursuit and before the crash.

I also don't remember many LSU fans giving a shite about Lacy after the hit and run. Then he kills himself and the tune completely changes. There are people on here acting like he's some kind of hero now.

Some people should not have guns at the end of the day.
But who shouldn't have guns? And how do we define those people? And who gets to decide and interpret those definitions.
It's a very slippery slope.

Tarzana is a liberal so he has limited understanding of the real world and even less on guns

The media said he was arguing with his sister and shot his gun into the ground
You ever done that before? Argued with your sister then pulled out a gun and shot it on the ground near her?
Sorry I shouldn't have said shot at his family. He used a gun to intimidate his sister in an argument.
That makes him sound like a stand up guy now....

of course an idiot would say this., Probably voted for Kamala too lmao

Someone in the home page thread called him a thug. A true thug wouldn't be so affected by all this. He was NOT a "thug".
His angst apparently came from being indicted, not the accident.
I dont think he's a thug, but he did create this situation.
Sometimes its healing to admit your fault from the start and move on.

And all the comments under WBRZ’s FB post are right on cue. 100% divide along racial lines, with one side expressing concern for the family while reminding that another family is still grieving a loss he allegedly caused, the other side blaming white piypo up to, and including allegations that HPD is guilty of racial profiling.
Same exact divide as on social media posts about the track meet incident. It shows the total disregard a particular portion of our population has for human lives.

Stayed true to his convictions...the gangs and guns cultural he so glorified is how he went out.
