This clearly shows the ball off the ground and his knee down.

That “incomplete pass” to me was the one call they missed. He clearly tucked the ball and made two steps. My understanding of the rule is the receiver has to make “a football move”. Tucking the ball and taking a step is “a football move”.

It is what it is though and that game should have never been that close. We didn’t take care of business when we should have.

Dont try to reason with stupidity bro. But your right he was obviously down.

ODB caught a ball with three fingers. Explain that to these idiots who think he wasnt down for lack of “possesion” of the ball. Ya’ll must be some little handed bastards. If you have average sized hands you can scoop up a football easily by the nose of the ball.

When every single questionable call favors 1 team, then the fix is in. The fumble that wasn’t even reviewed was the most spineless piece of officiating I’ve seen. To not review that says, “we don’t want to have to make a call.”

Expect this outside firm studying the refs to say LSU/TAM was well officiated. The SEC got what it wanted. LSU didn’t drop in bowl game and TAM got into a better one.

LSU won the game 4 times. A well-deserved STTDB goes out to Steve Shaw.

You are dead wrong. And Steve Shaw is on the money. The calls were correct. The QB’s knee was down.It was unfortunate but true. The call on Greedy was poor, but Shaw said it was marginal - right again.

WTF are you looking at that makes you disagree?

how anyone can say Mond’s knee was “clearly” down is just being silly.

His knee was clearly down. After watching the replay I expected the call to be overturned, because I saw clear evidence that his knee was down. If you don’t think that was clear then in order to be convinced you would have to see multiple body parts on the ground.

What got me about the knee down call was it should have been called on the field. Down at the spot AND the clock continue to run.

Why was the play reviewed?

This is homerism! He clearly DOES NOT take two steps. He takes one step, and the ball is already coming loose before the next foot touches the ground. The call was close but correct.

This is the only time in my life that I remember SEC officials responding to criticism and taking any degree of accountability. One time. Never before and probably won't happen again. And that is the problem with officiating.

That was a fumble. Anyone who legitimately believes that the TE did not complete the catch doesn’t understand the rules of football.

By the rule it was probably a correct call. But the possession rule on catches in the NFL and NCAA needs changing. Too many complete passes called incomplete.

Knee was down, clock should have run. Game over.
