He belongs in the record books.

Period.

He will always be one of the best RB’s I’ve ever seen in purple & gold

Guice is a turd but LSU is dumb to erase his records. Because somebody screws up we take away all their achievements and pretend they never existed?

I loved watching that dude play. Idk about all of the other shite, but it sounds like that kind of stuff followed him all the way from high school to the NFL.

His father was murdered when he was a child and it was downhill from there. I'm not excusing his behavior, but a little humility and perhaps some "therefore but the grace of god go I" might be in order. Plus, he's only, what, 25? He could go on to do many great things with his life.

Clearly. I still have not seen any cogent explanation in this thread of why tpos, federally convicted criminal, Billy Cannon is still so recognized and lionized.

Hopefully so, but as soon as his athletic “worth “ was noticed he was removed from that environment, placed in a well to do home, pricey private school, all the toys, etc.

He watched a car wreck, ran to the car and pulled the lady out. He went on live to tank God for allowing him to save lives. The lady was sitting there playing on her phone looking unbothered.

Substitute Guice for any random stranger and you’ll see why this is weird. Just because you have someone’s poster doesn’t entitle you to hang out with them

i am younger than him and was like 18 at the time.it was a simple question, i didn’t feel “entitled” to hang out with him? wtf

you would think someone about to be making millions would just ignore it if he didn’t want to answer (which i wasn’t expecting anyways), yet he took time out of his day to be an a-hole and tell me to mind my fricking business

Sure, I'm glad he had that. But we shouldn't pretend horrific childhood traumas are overcome automatically by such things. If anything, they might paper over and obscure his real issues.

Because nobody really cares about printing fake money. And if you need the difference between counterfeiting and (alleged) sexual assault and why one may be viewed with more disgust than the other, then I can’t help you.

Perhaps because he confessed to his crime of counterfeiting, did his time, never got in any kind of trouble again, humbled himself, and apparently changed in many ways for the positive and tried to give back in his life as he grew older. People love a good redemption story. That and he was a hell of a football player with one of the most famous plays in CFB history.
