I’ll never forget when he gave Saban a tongue lashing at the end of the 2002 game for a fake speech that had spread on the internet the week before the game.

Oh, that and the "smoke draw" that LSU absolutely could not stop that night.

RIP

RIP.

There is a joke to be made about still not reaching 77, but I can't put it together.

I always list this game at near the top of the worst games i've ever attended in TS. Saban disappointed me greatly that night for both reasons.

I was 15 and that was my first game in Tiger Stadium after seeing the SECCG and Sugar Bowl in person the previous year.

I left pretty damn disappointed. We started pretty well and drove down the field and then our FG got blocked... don't think we had a single decent play after that

Sat in the lower part of the upper deck for that one and froze my baguettes off. Wind was roaring out of the north. The last time I have ever sat up there. Game was much worse than score indicated as we had like 196 total yards of offense. Total beatdown similar to 2024.

He was a hot coaching name in the late 90’s while at TCU.

I was in the SEZ, game was miserable as stated. That fricking draw play still haunts me, Bama ran for ~300 yards.

RIP. He wasn’t a great coach for my Ags, but he was extremely friendly to me the two times I talked to him.

Greatest play ever - fake punt. Direct snap to Bradie James.

2002 game was brutal.

no, that was 1996. Shaun was already in his 3rd year in the NFL in 2002.
