Not to mention the ridiculous commissions the brokers get when they sell these things. Anecdotally, you also hear so many stories about the products themselves not being appropriate for the person they were sold to. Shady stuff.

This is what the elevation was like. The first 4-5 miles downhill is interesting, then relatively flat till mile 15. That’s when the Newton Hills come in to play, followed by Heartbreak Hill around mile 21. I thought I knew what to expect, but it was tougher than I thought

Ran my first Boston Marathon yesterday. Was doing well till about mile 18. Those hills kicked this Louisiana boy’s arse :lol:
