Honestly the defense looks soft.
Like the players need more strength and conditioning.

Just my opinion.

I got crushed after the game for saying that the loss was on the defense.

That's because it's fricking dumb.

The lasting image I will remember is the offense getting us the lead in the 4th quarter and then a bad Florida offense went down the field in 2 minutes to essentially score the game winning TD mostly with running the ball right at us.

Remind us all about what happened for the remaining 6 minutes.

The sad part is that we couldn't stop the run and force the game into his hands

LSU defense will improve but its' nowhere near where many assumed it was, among the top in the league, however that will change with time. So will the Oline improve, once players get healthy. Then its game on!

Great, they’ll improve just in time for the offseason

Could happen anytime, vs Ga, Miss St, Ala, or Texas A & M. I find it hard to be down on a LSU team that beat two top ten teams and are still in the hunt.

True.

Burrow is better than we thought

Considering and compared to the hype, he is what we thought he was. But yea--kid is good. He's clutch AF. That fourth and 19, though! And he put those last two incompletions on the money! Just more drops...

Boy they need to. They stepped up for Auburn, but sorely disappointed Saturday. Just inconsistent.

Man. He kinda does.

On to Georgia! Lot of ball to play this season with great opportunities ahead. Chin up, boys and girls. We've already exceeded expectations with more room to grow!

Team loss. I bet if you asked the players, BOTH OFF and DEF would say they did not execute. Both sides of the ball have some things to figure out in order for us to compete and win over the next three games.

Definitely “a team loss” LSU made enough mistakes overall to get embarrassed yet, was still in position to win. On to Ga, LSU now plays with something to prove. Look out!

You know I was just speaking to my friends yesterday, asking them about LSU strength and conditioning program. The offensive and defensive lines starts off strong in every game and then as the game goes on, they seem to lose steam. Start showing signs of fatigue and then the opponent starts to dominate. Coach O said they were trying to figure out why they are losing leads in the 2nd half. That's your answer. Need an off season that's focused strength and conditioning that can dominate for 4 quarters in the SEC.

LSU starts off fast in every game, it’s not like they can’t put it together just not for 4 quarters.

It is a great defense. They are just on the field too long since the offense blows.

Says who? Our WR can’t catch a cold.

Definitely does not look like a QB that is about to have the most passing yards EVER.

Burrow has one of the worst completion rates in the SEC anddddd NCAA. He’s number 112 of 122 in the FBS for completion rate. How is that like drew Bree’s? He has 6 receiving touchdowns for the year. Alabama has 24 passing touchdowns. Not being negative but realistic.

Tons of drops by receivers and throwing it away to avoid the INT will do that.

1 fumble
2 picks
1 pick 6
4/17 on 3rd down, and none thru the air

He did say “when he has time”. Florida was all over him this weekend and the last pick doesn’t really count. It was basically a Hail Mary situation. You don’t fault the QB if a Hail Mary gets intercepted. He had no choice but to try and make a first down.

Every defensive stat ranking is better than any stat ranking of Burrow or the offense.

LSU fans see what they want to see

The LSU offensive and defensive lines are not in the same league with several teams in the SEC

Oline is young, Dline is not. I think Aranda is utilizing the talent that’s there. Fla constantly blitzed after the the first two series, and shut down LSU. What did Aranda do?

“Burrow had a good game”

When you are responsible for 3 turnovers, you didn’t have a good game.

The Mullen vs. Aranda series reminds me of Houston Nutt vs. Miles. Nutt found a way to beat LSU & Miles a few times with teams that in our opinion should not have been able to compete with LSU. Hopefully Aranda can put this kind of showing behind him. Sad thing is Mullen seems to have laid out a blue print for the rest of the SEC on how to beat Aranda's Defense. The coming weeks will define this team. I'm still "in"
