Sure it's a problem, but 20 points given up is not. I don't really care what any of you say, the defense is not the main reason LSU lost Saturday.

Oh I'm not blaming the defense for the loss, I was just saying giving up 200 yards rushing is concerning. Especially in this league.

The lack of depth in the front 7 definitely got exposed. It's only going to get worse over the next month.

Burrow had a good game. He wasn't protected that great but his receivers had some big time drops against a good defense that would have changed the game.

But over at SECRant, I’m told he is the worst QB in the SEC.....

This is false. They had two drops during desperation time. The game was already lost on Burrow’s pick 6, so these drops would not have likely changed the game. The Jefferson drop was not blatant. I don’t expect most people to understand that, because it hit him in both hands. He saw it late and had to hurry to the ball instead of a normal high-point. That makes for a hard catch, but I would still expect him to catch that. The other drop, by Anderson(?) was ridiculous. Another big miss was Burrow’s miss of Jefferson on the wide open deep route.

I thought Franks looked pretty terrible regardless of time to throw

He did. It’s just a knee jerk reaction because they see 1: Florida won. And 2: he made one good throw on severely busted coverage that resulted in a TD so that’s the only play going over and over in their heads.

He was 44% for the day.

Felipe Franks looked like Brees when we gave him 7 seconds to throw every ball. Good grief. Fromm is going to rip us a new one

he literally had like 3 good throws all day. out of 30 passes or so

You lead the Saints to a Super Bowl victory and you're damn right you deserve Hall of Fame consideration.

Joe Namath is in the Hall of Fame because of one Super Bowl win.

Time for Chase and Marshall to move up the depth chart. It made sense to play the upper classmen early but those drops on the final drive should have settled the issue. Jefferson has been great. Anderson, Dillon and Sullivan have had their moments and definitely contributed to the 5-0 start but Chase has more than earned a starting spot.

Maybe the weakest troll attempt I’ve ever seen.

Yes we need to protect Burrow better because he has ABSOLUTELY no idea defenders are after him. At least, that's how it looks to me.

The main season we wont win any championships this season is that our O and D lines are slightly above average. IMO, you need very good lines to wins championships in this conference.

Still didn't believe he was the real deal after UM. He chaged a lot of ppls minds against UF.

He isn't just a game manager.

That’s always the go to for the negatigers but the truth is it’s this defense that hasn’t looked too sharp so far. The o-line doesn’t look good but there are some injuries on the line.

Well there were idiots that thought our defense was going to be on par with 2011. Others had more tempered expectations.

Defense hasn't been elite but it was good enough to win yesterday. We need to put up more than 19 points in a hostile environment, period.

Well you can’t expect a guy to be on you from the blindside in a millisecond.

He did hold a couple a little too long but that happens.

I got crushed after the game for saying that the loss was on the defense.

The lasting image I will remember is the offense getting us the lead in the 4th quarter and then a bad Florida offense went down the field in 2 minutes to essentially score the game winning TD mostly with running the ball right at us.
