SCOOP: @LSUbaseball has hired @DBU_Baseball associate head coach and recruiting coordinator Dan Fitzgerald as its recruiting coordinator, sources tell @d1baseball. Fitzgerald earned a stellar reputation during his nine seasons with the #DBU program and is a terrific get for #LSU.

With what DBU has accomplished as a small denominational school becoming a national baseball power, this is a helluva home run hire.
Feel fortunate to have Fitzgerald the 2-3 years we will have him. He’ll be a head coach at a P5 school before long.
