You are better at controlling yourself than I am cuz I’m ALL the way in on coach Johnson.

Johnson seems like a good dude and is saying the right things.

I’ve been tricked before by sales type guys that can make it seem like they know what they are doing before (David Griffin with the pelicans comes to mind), but CJJ reminds me so much of Will Wade in his confidence and having a plan of attack on how to improve.

Why are we talking about Tulo??? Johnson doesn't need/want another top grade hitting coach as that's his specialty and it will be taught/done HIS WAY! Being the assistant hitting coach will be responsibility of Dan or somebody else. What am I missing?

Amazing, but Jay Johnson has stepped right in here and made as much—or maybe more—of an immediate impact on baseball as Kim Mulkey has on women’s basketball.

That's a pretty good call there, My Man!

CJJ and his staff will eventually be judged by game results primarily.

My opinion is that Johnson was a very good hire. He seems to be saying and doing the right things. He has done this same thing at least twice in the last 8 years (Nevada and Arizona).

DBU has always been a solid baseball program. Though I always wait on performance results, he is a good hire.

This is great. I didn't read through all 7-8 pages of responses, but I just think Fitzgerald has helped make DBU one of the nation's best baseball programs.

So there is no reason why he can't recruit even better than that at LSU.

I wish him lots of success.

I'm rooting for him too. But they all say/do the right things at first. Worst comes to worst maybe we already have the next head guy on staff in Fitzgerald...
