Sounds like an Arden Key type thing.

Not surprised. He came to LSU to play D/L, LSU switched him to O/L. I figured it was just a matter of time before he'd bail out on LSU.
He gone!
He gone!

It sucks that Van Pran was adamant about going out of state.

Van pran can’t play left tackle lol

That is extremely disappointing. It hurts our program year after year.

I wonder whether they would look at Pettigrew at left tackle.
If he's up to 270 or more he might be somebody who could bulk up and play relatively well there. He's certainly athletic enough with a wide enough base.
And he isn't likely to get a whole lot of action at tight end if Arik Gilbert is as good as advertised.

I wonder of they'd consider trying out one of the guys in the guard log jam (Kardell, Bradford, or Ingram) at RT and give Deculus a shot at LT.

Williams was a 4 star, Council a 2 star.
Stars aren’t the whole story, but I’d certainly look at Williams. They could use both for depth.

I was just saying LSU has offered Council. He also has offers from So Cal, Auburn, Baylor and other power five schools. That having been said, I believe LSU would like to sign two grad transfer O-linemen.

I told y’all LSU needed to grab a left tackle out the transfer portal because going into the season with just Dare was risky but you clowns didn’t want to listen

He played in 5/6 of Charles’ suspended games.

Who said LSU hasn’t been looking at and evaluating OL in the transfer portal?

Stars aren’t the whole story,
By the time a player is a grad transfer, stars are not the "whole story" they are "zero story."
Why would you even bring up such irrelevant information?

Yes, and he's a guy they think could play a few different spots on the line. LT included.
