O said he'll be back in the summer and expects him to be an NFL Left Tackle. Let's chill for now.

Even if he comes back will he be even football ready after missing the spring. Left tackle has really hit us in the arse the last couple of years especially since Charles is gone now. Grad transfer maybe?

Players sit out spring all the time. He will be fine.

Panic...omg...panic. It's freaking March. Plenty of time to figure it out since we don't play this Saturday

Can't be drug tested if he's not in school... 1 more strike and he's gone. This is preventative

why wouldn't he? You don't think he can get in football shape in 3-4 months of summer/fall workouts? Do you worry about players who sit out the spring for minor injuries being ready for football in the fall?

I get the premise behind it, but isn't this just delaying the inevitable? If he can't lay off the weed during the spring, what makes us think he won't just fail his first test when he gets back this summer?

What a fricking joke. I dislike our policy on this stuff, but these kids need to grow up. Dare has a lot of money on the line this season because he's so talented.

However, I have to ask, when is Woodward ending this policy?

Then he was never good enough to play left tackle if thats the case

Not Woodward's policy to end. It's an LSU issue. You need to talk to the Board of Supervisors and the President
