Beat out Brady. His odds for MVP are going to start ticking up.

He’s so much better than Caleb Williams.

Commanders got a steal at #2

I can’t believe it wasn’t obvious to the NFL and I lost money betting he would be the first player picked. Also…bookmarks… so many bookmarks…

It's a travesty we didn't have half a defense. He's a championship caliber player.

Legitimate question - if you replace Burrow with Jayden on that 2019 team, do we have an equal, or possibly even better, offense that year? It’s crazy that so soon after Burrow that this question might have some good discussion.

Even better as crazy as that is to think about

I really thought he was going to go first. Caleb Williams' final year had nothing on JD's. Most pundits said it was a 1a 1b type choice, and I didn't even get that. Were there any statistic where Williams bested Daniels?

Anyone who watched him at LSU would see this coming.

The reads he made and accuracy of his throws with the flip of his wrist is insane. Throws darts.

Exactly. Knowing that JD went up against top NFL type defenses in the SEC and exploited all of them, it should have been a no brainer who was the better pick.

He landed in a great spot. Chicago is a dumpster fire of an organization. Eberflus is going to get fired more than likely and they are going to start from scratch. Dan Quinn is a good coach and they have Adam Peters as GM.

It is not only the completion rate, he is a play maker and can get out of trouble to pick up a first down unlike QBs who are like statue of liberty.

He is so good on his reads for his age that sometimes it feels unbelievable.

5 yards are basically automatic for him. It’s really unreal.

I briefly stepped out during the game, did they punt today?

I can't believe I'm watching DC Commanders games.

I've never been very big on Kingsbury, but he's doing a good job with Daniels and looks like a good fit.
