So Coach Wade was a little annoyed that an tv analyst straight up lied to him about what they would discuss. Coaches want to talk about their team and players.
Vitale pulled a sleezy move by being a pussy and telling Coach Wade they would talk about the game and nothing about any speculations that would make him or the program look bad, while knowing he was gonna attack Coach Wade’s character.
I guarantee Coach Wade wouldn’t have really cared if Dickie would have been upfront and told him they were gonna discuss it if he gave a good reason other than to help his friends recruit against LSU. He probably wouldn’t have liked it but at least it would be a respectable way for that cartoon Duke sucker to handle it. But Dickie V is a coward.
