In the presser today Coach O threw some shade on Myles Brennan without even knowing he did it. Or maybe it was a warning shot across the bow or something to challenge Brennan to step up.

During the segment Coach O was talking about our future and that all the pieces will be together next year except for Burrow, and then he went on to say; “we are going to have to go out and find us another great QB” or something very close to that if not exactly.

Uh hello McFly are you tryin to tell us Myles ain’t cutting it? What you definitely said is Brennan is no Burreaux! Well that kinda sucks but I think most people that saw him this year is expecting a step backwards in that area next year if Brennan is the QB which everything points to that.

Dunno, I agree with every word of that quote. Makes me think “yep, hope we can sign a super star. We are lucky to have Brennan ready for next year but we need the next Burrow in recruiting”.

OP just hears “O is mean to Brennan”.

This is why LSU is known as the Fighting Tigers!

Its going to be funny reading posts a year from now when Max Johnson passes Brennan on the depth chart or we are 8-4 because of Brennan's sub par QB play.

What kind of loser is thinking these thoughts the day we are 12-0 going into the SEC championship.

Burrow is one of the best ever and is going to win the Heisman. It is totally unrealistic to expect Brennen to fill those shoes. He can still be very good though.

Brennan has the tools and will be in his 4th and 5th season in the program. There’s no reason he can’t be really good with the wr’s we will have and Joe Brady calling plays.

It's about recruiting. Kind of hard to get top QBs if they already know someone else is already starting next season. Recruits need to know they will have an opportunity to compete for the spot.

Brennan should benefit greatly from an improved D and even better OL. He won’t be Burrow. No one will.

we will have to find good players at all positions just like bama and clemson do. Nothing to see here

That is not shade on Brennan. Orgeron has to leave the position open and call for competition. It is clear that LSU will have a lot coming back And the key will be QB play at a very high level

Well if that is really the case then you can bet Brady is gone. No way he burns his brand on a shitty qb, when he can make 2.5M and coach Sam Ehlinger to a heisman.

Brennan looked sharp on that long TD pass vs the Aggies. He's got the it factor, and has ever since his first action v Syracuse in 2017.

There is no argument here. He is. By a wide margin.

Joe Burrow is the single best and worst thing to happen to LSU football fans. Imagine the rantards foaming at the mouth the next few years when the QB play inevitably falls off.

He could easily just mean the likes of Caleb Williams and talking about recruiting in general. He’s been pretty effusive in his praise of Brennan the past year learning behind Burrow

Hello, there aren't going to be many that can compare to Burrow "for a long time". Calm down.

He has a cannon and is pretty accurate .

True but that cannon has the touch of a gorilla sometimes on short and intermediate throws. Its like he feels he has to drill it everytime.

Also dont believe he can move around in the pocket like Joe and create enough space to get an accurate throw off.

Hopefully, he gets there though.
